Airtel Nigeria which started accepting pre-orders for the BlackBerry Z10 2 weeks ago has announced availability of the devices at its shops across the country for pick up for those that pre-ordered or for fresh purchase for those that did not pre-order the device from them.
Airtel’s Chief Marketing Officer, Olu Akanmu speaking at the Airtel Z10 launch event at Ikoyi Club, Lagos, noted that the company was the first to move beyond the preorder stage to actually offering the device for sale. “Airtel would continuously seek to consolidate its position as a pioneer of innovation in the telecoms landscape, in line with its vision of being the most loved brand in the daily lives of Nigerians. Our superior and widest 3.75G coverage across the country would further complement the distinctive computing features of the smartphone to provide customers with a delightful internet experience round-the-clock, irrespective of their location”, he said.
The device will be available at Airtel stores nationwide for those that pre-ordered at N100,000 regardless of the color, while those who did not pre-order but wish to pick up the device from Airtel will need to shell out N110,000 for the black one and N112,000 for the white one.
