Samsung Galaxy Folder outed: The Flip Phone is back

A long time ago (almost in another lifetime) I had a Samsung T100 (True i) flip phone, at the time, It was revolutionary, It was the first phone to use an active matrix TFT LCD display ever (at the time other phones used passive matrix) and the display was something else at least in that era–now we are rocking full 1080p HD displays…what a long way we have come!

Seems like Samsung is trying to bring those days back. Clien.net has outted pictures of an android powered flip phone called the Samsung Galaxy Folder apparently. There isn’t a lot of information about the device right now, but from the images you see that the clamshell device features a dual-screen.

The rumoured specs are:

  • 3.7 inch Amoled display with 800*480 resolution
  • Snapdragon 400 Dual core chip clocked at 1.7Ghz
  • 2GB RAM
  • 1820mAh battery
  • LTE SupportTouch Screen
  • Android 4.2.2
