The unsubscribe button has been available for Gmail on the web for some time now but thanks to Google, Android users finally also get to shut out those unimportant messages that clutter their inboxes from their devices following the newest Gmail app update. The new update brings two new features to the app which are:
- Block Sender: Wherever you are in your Gmail, hit the options menu and choose “block sender”. Doing this shuts out all emails from that particular address and sends all future emails straight into your spam folder.
- Unsubscribe: This feature is already out on the Web, but Google is saying it will make its way to Android as well. Just like its name implies, this feature lets you easily opt out of certain mailing lists directly from the app. Just tap on the options menu and choose Unsubscribe when you’re viewing such a newsletter.
Bye Dr Azolibe.
