Infinix is on a roll. With the launch of the Infinix Hot S still lingering in the air, they’ve launched yet another device, this time it’s from their top tier range – the Infinix Note 3.
The launch event event which was themed #JIMSbigthing took place on Friday the 26th of August, in partnership with Jumia & MTN at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Infinix Note 3 features a 6-inch IPS display like its predecessor the Note 2, but this time, the display has been bumped up from 720p to full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution, 367ppi). Beneath the display, it packs a liquid cooled 1.3GHz octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, expandable to 128GB via microSD.
The device runs on XOS, Infinix’s custom version of android, which is based on android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and features a few tips and tricks layered on the OS.
In the photography department, the device spots a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash at the back. Speaking of the back, beneath the camera and flash, you’ll also find a fingerprint scanner, just like the one on the Hot S.
The feature Infinix is really pushing on the Note 3 though, is the battery. The device features a 4500mAh battery, but more importantly, it’s got android’s fast charging as well, meaning even a 5 minute quick charge will take you a long way from zero.
Speaking at the event, Regional Country Manager at Infinix Mobility, Bruno li, stated, “We are very proud of our latest smartphone NOTE 3 and also the partnership for JIM with Jumia & MTN 2nd year in a row.
