Virtual Nigeria: Reboot 2016
Come 14th December, 2016 at the Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Virtual Nigeria’s Reboot will hold. The program is themed “The Power of Open Source” with professionals in various fields gracing this event. Speakers include Adebayo Adesanya (Lead Training Consultant, Virtual Nigeria), Professor Idowu Sunday (Head of Department, Computer Science, Babcock University) and Dr Asaolu (Head of Department, Systems Engineering, University of Lagos). forLoop: End-of-the-Year Party
A gathering of Nigerian developers who meet to interact socially and share ideas on different technologies, forLoop has an end-of-the-year party lined up for mid December.
The party will hold on the 17th of December, 2016. It’s holding at 3, Birrel Avenue, Off Herbert Macaulay Way, Sabo, Yaba in Lagos and should last the three hours spanning 1300 and 1600 hours. You can also get a free invite here.

The collaborative-community for independent professionals has lined up Jelly!: a free co-working day at their premises. It’s for entrepreneurs, freelancers, enthusiasts and just about anybody. Terragon Engineering: Localhost – Building to Scale
This event is slated for the 16th of December, 2016 and is designed for veteran engineers dealing with significant scaling challenges and startups hoping to achieve significant scale. “The goal of this meetup is to bring together as many of the brilliant engineers in Nigeria as possible. To come together and share experiences. The success stories, the horror stories and everything in between. We would be discussing scaling techniques, optimization, automation, continuous delivery, development patterns, frameworks, tools, algorithms, testing, version control and much more.” .
