If you’re familiar with Spots.ng or the Universal Locations API by Hotels.ng, chances are you’ve heard of their internship program. The Remote Internship Program which was launched last year and saw 170 interns, will be continued this year.
In a tweet, Hotels.ng’s CEO, Mark Essien called for interns for the Remote Internship Program for 2017.

Late last year, as the first Remote Internship Program came to an end, the interns who participated had built their first product, a Universal Locations API for e-commerce companies. Soon after that they would help complete spots.ng, a free platform that suggests cool spots and tourist attractions in Nigeria to users based on their preferences. I am yet to take full advantage of the platform.
The interns also helped to build two more programs – Raven, a simplified in-house mailing system, and Hotels.ng for Businesses, a project that is being optimized for premium delivery.
This year, the Remote Internship Program 2.0 is expected to be bigger, more engaging, and in addition to Africa and Europe, have participants from all over the world.
