SpeedUp Africa has opened applications for African startups to be a part of their 2017 Bootcamp. It is 4-day growth and investment focused founder bootcamp aimed at transforming startups to ‘SpeedUPS’ and also give African startups the right platform to grow.
Powered by Draper Dark Flow (DDF), a Silicon Valley Capital firm, African Business Angel Network (ABAN), 500 Startups, Seedstars World, Singularity University and a few others, the program is looking to select 100 African startups for the bootcamp which will include growth-hacking workshops, mentorship classes, a DEAL DAY (as opposed to DEMO DAY), where startups will have one-on-one investment meetings.
Application for the Bootcamp is free. However, startups coming from outside Nigeria must pay for their air tickets while accommodation and feeding will be provided for free. Only startups with live product and some tractions or prototype will be considered. So if you only have an idea or an execution plan unfortunately, this is not for you.
Applications will close on 1st May with the selected startups contacted on 5th May. The bootcamp will be held between 5th – 9th July in Lagos.
