Google’s Launchpad Accelerator is now opened to Nigeria. After its expansion to two more continents – Africa and Europe, Nigerians will now have an opportunity to enter for the acceleration program. The countries added to the program are Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa for Africa, and Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic for Europe.
Introduced in 2015, Launchpad Accelerator is a six-month acceleration program that includes mentorship and access to Google Product Managers, a startup package of equity- free support, product credits and access to Google’s full suite of Launchpad initiatives and connections. This also includes an all-expense-paid trip to Google headquarters in Mountain View to collaborate with Google engineers/product managers and regional venture capitalists.
So, if you’ve got a team that has set out to address a real challenge for your home city, country or region, and is also interested in joining a community of startups from around the world and scaling the tech startup into a company, then you should apply for the Google Launchpad Accelerator. Through the Launchpad Accelerator, you can utilize this mentorship and privileged product access to scale your business and better capitalize on local markets, while also tapping into new global opportunities.
The application deadline is Monday April 24 by 9am PDT and training at the Google campus starts on July 17. You can apply here.
