Infinix unveils the ‘Infinix Smart Series’

Infinix has just unveiled a new series in its range of smartphones. Called the Infinix Smart Series, the new range is targeted at young, entertainment-savvy consumers across the country.

The first device on its Smart Series roster is the Infinix Smart X501o which, Infinix says “was designed to ensure young Nigerians have access to remarkable specifications and durable smartphones at an affordable price.”

The Infinix Smart retails for N29,500 and features dual speakers with a dual power amplifier driver and 3D surround sound, a 5-inch, 720p HD display, 16GB storage (expandable to 32GB), 1GB RAM and a 1.3GHZ Quad core Mediatek MTK6580 processor. The device is also both 2G and 3G ready.

The Infinix Smart X5010 also features an 8-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel selfie camera in the photography department. Finally, in the power department, there’s a 3060mAh battery under the hood.

On the software side of things, the device ships with Infinix’s XOS 2.2, which is its own variant of Android 7.0.

It is available in 5 colors -Apple Green, Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, Sandstone black and mysterious Blue.
