Lately, it seems like the banks are getting interested in supporting startups in the country from EcoBank’s fintech challenge to the recently concluded Union Bank’s centenary challenge. But not all have jumped on the bandwagon of course as this medium piece by Jason Njoku, IrokoTV founder shows.
Well, Union Bank seems to have yet another plan to support startups and its called “Startup Connect”. Startup Connect is a business acceleration program which will match Nigerian tech startups with the Union Bank brand to aid rapid growth.
Through Startup Connect, selected startups can access Union bank’s 350 sales and service centres and also over 3.7 million customers across Nigeria to scale their solutions.
If you or your team are working on an innovative, technology-driven idea to address critical social and business challenges in Nigeria, be sure to apply as the deadline for applications close on the 1st of September, 2017
The Union Bank Startup Connect is an initiative sponsored by Union Bank. It will be delivered by Co-Creation Hub Nigeria.
